markets including Mirbag, Belka and Poura markets of the upazila on Monday.

Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) and first class executive magistrate Iffat

help the customers purchase the essentials at fair prices.

During the monitoring, she fined Taka 200 to five shop keepers each for
selling the essentials to the customers at higher prices.

Talking to the BSS, the UNO said the monitoring would continue in the upazila
during the whole month of Ramadan to attain the cherished goal of the
monitoring.
