RAJSHAHI, March 2, 2026 (BSS)- Many people feel ashamed to express their
financial hardship. They cannot even ask for help and silently endure their
suffering throughout the days of Ramadan.

Once again, Vidyanondo Foundation has stood beside such members of society.

Through its nationwide "Roja'r Bazar" programme, the organisation has planned
to arrange iftar and sehri for nearly 300,000 underprivileged fasting
individuals across the country.

In addition, special packages of essential food items are being distributed
to 10,000 low-income families.

As part of the initiative, food supplies were distributed among 200 destitute
families at a designated location in the Bhadra-Jamalpur area of Rajshahi
city today (Monday).

Each package included rice, chickpeas, lentils, sugar, flour, cooking oil,
salt, and other daily necessities. Every family received food items worth at
least Taka 900, which will bring them some relief during this time.

According to the organisers, Vidyanondo Foundation, along with its volunteers
and donors, has been continuing such humanitarian initiatives for years.

They called upon financially capable individuals in society to come forward,
saying that collective efforts can bring smiles to the faces of the helpless
and give true meaning to the spirit of Ramadan.
