GAIBANDHA, June 13, 2026 (BSS) - A Startup, Science Project and Innovation Idea Showcasing Programme was held at the auditorium of the Fulchhari Upazila Administration on Friday to foster scientific awareness, innovative thinking and entrepreneurial skills among students.

The programme was organized jointly by the upazila administration and the upazila secondary education office.

Local lawmaker and freedom fighter Abdul Wares inaugurated the event as the chief guest. Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Mostafizur Rahman presided over the function, while Upazila Secondary Education Officer Syed Monirul Hasan moderated the programme.

Among others, Upazila Academic Supervisor Md. Nure Alam Siddik and heads of various educational institutions addressed the inaugural session.

Speaking on the occasion, Abdul Wares urged students to develop a scientific outlook and generate innovative ideas that could contribute to the country's progress and help achieve its development goals in the future.

A large number of government officials, education enthusiasts, students, guardians and members of civil society attended the programme.
