RANGAMATI, June 25, 2026 (BSS)- A target has been set to administer Vitamin 'A' Plus capsules to 86,607 children in the district on Sunday.

Rangamati Civil Surgeon Dr Nguyen Khisa said this at a press conference on National Vitamin 'A' Campaign-2026 at his office here today.

The Civil Surgeon said among the children, 10,537 infants aged 6 to 11 months will receive blue-colored capsules while 75,323 children aged 12 to 59 months will get red-colored capsules. Additionally, an extra buffer stock of 1,000 capsules has been kept in reserve.

A total of 2,014 volunteers and 285 health department workers will participate in the vaccination program to be held 1,297 centers.

Senior officials of the district administration attended the press conference.
