BNP distributes free vegetables among destitute in Satkhira

SATKHIRA, June 26, 2026 (BSS)- On the initiative of the district BNP, free vegetables were distributed among over 300 destitute and helpless people.

The humanitarian program was inaugurated this morning in front of the BNP office at Itagacha Hat intersection in the city.

Advocate Syed Iftikhar Ali, former convener of Satkhira District BNP and Sheikh Tarikul Hasan, former general secretary inaugurated the event. 


BNP leaders said the initiatives were taken to alleviate the suffering of the poor in the current economic situation of the country. They expressed confidence that such public welfare activities will continue in the future.

At the event, various types of fresh vegetables were distributed free of cost. The beneficiaries expressed gratitude to the organizers for such a humanitarian initiative.
