Claim about fire at Bappa Mazumder's house is false: BanglaFact

DHAKA, May 22, 2025 (BSS) - BanglaFact, fact-checking and media research team of Press Institute Bangladesh (PIB), has identified the claim of fire at Music artist Bappa Majumdar's house as false.

BanglaFact's investigation noted that the claim of major fire at musician Bappa Mazumder's house was exaggerated. The incident involved only a minor electrical short circuit, not a destructive blaze as claimed on online platform.

Bappa Mazumder confirmed the matter to the BanglaFact stating it was just a small fire caused by an electrical short circuit.
