BEIRUT, Lebanon, Jan 17, 2025 (BSS/AFP) - French President Emmanuel Macron arrived in Beirut Friday morning to meet new Lebanese President Joseph Aoun and Prime Minister-designate Nawaf Salam, an AFP journalist saw.

Macron's plane landed at the Lebanese capital's airport at around 6:45 am (04:45 GMT).
