Russia says downed 249 Ukrainian drones overnight

MOSCOW, Nov 25, 2025 (BSS/AFP) - Russia's defence ministry said Tuesday it intercepted nearly 250 Ukrainian drones during overnight attacks.

"Over the course of the past night, from 11:00 pm Moscow time on November 24 to 7:00 am on November 25, air defence alert systems intercepted and destroyed 249 Ukrainian fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles," the ministry said.
