The abductors demanded Taka 15,00,000 from the father of Nazmul as ransom. As the father of the accused failed to pay the ransom, the abductors killed Nazmul and left the body to a roadside ditch near Akkelpur rail gate in a plastic bag.

Later, father of the deceased, filed a case with Badolgachhi Thana and police later submitted charge sheet of the case to the court. The court cross examined a total of 20 prosecution witnesses during the trial and finally delivered the judgment today.
