Chief Adviser to open 7th National Comdeca on Wednesday

SIRAJGANJ, Feb 17, 2025 (BSS) - Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus will inaugurate the 7th National Comdeca 2025 to be held at the hard point of Sirajganj town protection embankment on February 19-25.

The Chief Adviser will open the 7-day Comdeca virtually from Dhaka on February 19, Chief Adviser's Deputy Press Secretary Abul Kalam Azad Majumder told BSS.

Bangladesh Scouts is going to arrange the Comdeca with a slogan of "building discrimination-free society".

Around 6,000 people, including 4,000 rover scouts and 1,500 volunteers, are expected to participate in the event.

Bangladesh Scouts Assistant Director Nasir Uddin said the Bangladesh Scouts headquarters and Sirajganj district administration are constantly monitoring the arrangement of the Comdeca to make it a success.

The third Comdeca was held in Sirajganj hard point in 2001.
