IGP pays tribute to language heroes

DHAKA, Feb 21, 2025 (BSS) - Inspector General of Police (IGP) Baharul Alam today paid rich tributes to the language martyrs on the occasion of the Great Shaheed Dibash (Martyrs' Day) and International Mother Language Day-2025.

In the first hour of Ekushey, the IGP paid homage to the language movement heroes, who made supreme sacrifice to establish Bangla as the mother-language in 1952, by placing a wreath at the altar of the Central Shaheed Minar, said a press release of Police Headquarters.

Senior police officials were present with the IGP at the time.
