DHAKA, March 2, 2025 (BSS) - The newly appointed seven members of the Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC) took oath this morning.

Chief Justice Syed Refaat Ahmed administered the oath at swearing-in ceremony at the Supreme Court Judges' Lounge here.

The newly sworn-in seven members are Professors at Dhaka University (DU) Dr Md Sharif Hossain and Dr Ferdous Arfina Osman, Prof at Bangladesh Agricultural University Dr Shahnaz Sarkar, former Foreign Cadre Officer Sabbir Ahmed Chowdhury, former Health Cadre Officer ATM Farhad Uddin, Brigadier General(retd) Anwarul Islam and former Additional Inspector General of Police Md Munir Hossain.

The notification appointing the seven PSC members was issued on February 19.
