Magura rape victim's condition worsens: CA press wing

DHAKA, March 12, 2025 (BSS) - Psychical condition of critically ailing Magura rape victim girl deteriorated today, Chief Adviser's Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam said today.

"We are sad...her condition further deteriorated today. Her CGS level came down to 3 from 4," he told a press briefing quoting physicians at Foreign Service Academy here.

Physicians are trying their best to save her life, Alam said and sought doa to all for early recovery of the eight-year-old girl.

The eight-year-old girl, who is now battling for her life in the Combined Military Hospital (CMH), Dhaka blinked her eyes for a while for the first time on Monday morning.

The rape victim is undergoing treatment at the Pediatric ICU of the CMH.
