CA pledges to continue efforts with UN to repatriate Rohingyas

COX’S BAZAR, March 14, 2025 (BSS) - Chief Adviser Prof Muhammad Yunus today pledged to continue collective efforts together with the United Nations so that the Rohingyas can celebrate their Eid next year by returning their home of origin in Myanmar’s Rakhine state.

He made the remarks after joining iftar with one lakh Rohingyas at camp 20 extension of Ukhiya in the presence of UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres. 

Prof Yunus delivered his speech in Chattogram’s regional language for better communication with the Rohingyas.
