BGB DG pays tribute at ‘Seemanta Gourab’ in Pilkhana on Independence Day

DHAKA, March 26, 2025 (BSS) - Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) Director General (DG) Major General Mohammad Ashrafuzzaman Siddiqui today paid glowing tributes to martyrs of the Great Liberation War on the occasion of the Independence Day and National Day-2025.

He paid tribute to the martyrs by placing a wreath at the martyrs' memorial “Seemanta Gourab” at its Pilkhana headquarters in the capital at 07.30 am today, said a BGB press release.

At this time, a well-equipped team of BGB provided the 'Guard of Honor'.

Senior officers, junior officers, soldiers and civilian officials of the BGB headquarters were present.

To celebrate the day, the national flag was officially hoisted at 5:49 am today at all BGB units across the country, including the BGB headquarters in Pilkhana.
