Remittance inflow rises by 13.3pc in first 11 days of May

DHAKA, May 12, 2025 (BSS) - The country's remittance inflow rose 13.3 percent year-on-year, reaching $922 million in the 11 seven days of May.

According to the latest data from Bangladesh Bank (BB), the country received $814 million in remittances during the same period last year.

Expatriates sent $25,459 million in remittances from July 2024 to May 11, 2025, in the current fiscal year, up from $19,933 million in the same period of the previous fiscal year.
