Mexican Navy says 22 wounded after ship crashes into Brooklyn Bridge

MEXICO CITY, May 18, 2025 (BSS/AFP) - At least 22 people were wounded, three of them critically, when a Mexican Navy training ship slammed into the Brooklyn Bridge in New York City on Saturday, the navy said in a statement.

"No personnel fell into the water, so it was not necessary to activate rescue operations," the statement added, following the accident involving the Cuauhtemoc training vessel.
