Tarique Rahman wishes CA on his birthday

DHAKA, June 28, 2025 (BSS)- BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman has wished Chief Adviser Prof Dr. Muhammad Yunus on his birthday by presenting flowers.

This information was given in a press release sent to the media by the BNP media wing.

The press release said that around 6 pm, BNP Chairperson's Private Secretary ABM Abdus Sattar went to the Chief Adviser's office with a bouquet of flowers and a cake on behalf of Tarique Rahman.

Major General Ferdousi Hasan Selim, Military Secretary to the Chief Adviser, received the bouquet and the cake.

The Chief Adviser expressed his gratitude to BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman after receiving the floral greetings.

Chief Adviser Dr. Muhammad Yunus' 85th birthday is today. He was born on this day in 1940 in Bathua village of Hathazari upazila of Chattogram. His father was Dula Mia Sawdagar and mother was Sufia Khatun. 

In 2006, he became the first Bangladeshi to receive the Nobel Peace Prize. In addition, he has received numerous domestic and foreign awards.
