Remittance inflow witnesses 15.4pc growth till July to Sept 6 in FY26

DHAKA, Sept 07, 2025 (BSS) - Inflow of remittances witnessed a year-on-year growth of 15.4 percent (pc), reaching US$5,416 million during the July to September 6 of the current fiscal year (FY26), according to the latest data of Bangladesh Bank (BB) issued here today.

The amount was $4,694 million during the same period of the previous fiscal year 2024-25.

During the first six days of September, expatriate Bangladeshis sent around $516 million remittances.
