BNP delegation holds meeting with CA

DHAKA, Oct 21, 2025 (BSS) - A meeting between Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus and a delegation of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) started at the State Guest House Jamuna here this evening.

The three-member delegation led by BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir joined the meeting, said BNP media cell.

The delegation reached the Chief Adviser's residence shortly before 6 pm, it said.

The delegation included BNP Standing Committee members Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury and Salahuddin Ahmed.

Before entering Jamuna, Salahuddin Ahmed told reporters, "We had sought an appointment with the Chief Adviser. He has given us time at 6 pm today. We are going to meet him now."

He said, during the meeting, they will discuss the upcoming national election scheduled for February next, some administrative issues, and the overall situation in the country.
