DHAKA, Nov 12, 2025 (BSS) - British High Commissioner to Bangladesh Sarah Cooke today met NCP Convener Nahid Islam and other leaders of the party. 

During the meeting they discuss the UK-Bangladesh partnership and preparations for the upcoming elections, as part of the UK's ongoing dialogue with political parties, said the British high commissioner here. 

The British High Commission reiterated the United Kingdom's continued support for Bangladesh's democratic progress and constructive engagement with all political stakeholders ahead of the polls.
