Home Minister visits Ramna Model Police Station

DHAKA, May 2, 2026 (BSS) - Home Minister Salahuddin Ahmed today visited Ramna Model Police Station in the capital to observe ongoing service delivery and law enforcement activities.

During the visit, the minister spoke directly with service seekers present at the police station and inquired about the quality of services being provided.

He also toured different sections of the police station.
While interacting with police officers, the Home Minister issued necessary directives to enhance efficiency, professionalism and accountability in service delivery.

He stressed that members of the police must remain committed to public welfare and uphold the trust of citizens.

Officials present during the visit briefed the minister on ongoing activities and challenges, while he encouraged them to maintain discipline and enhance the quality of public service.

The visit reflects the government's continued efforts to strengthen policing standards and ensure better services.
