PM chairs BNP parliamentary party meeting at Sangsad Bhaban

DHAKA, June 6, 2026 (BSS) - A meeting of the ruling BNP parliamentary party was held at the Jatiya Sangsad (JS) Bhaban here today ahead of the budget session of the 13th JS to begin tomorrow.

Prime Minister and Leader of the House Tarique Rahman chaired the meeting at the meeting room of the ruling party in the Sangsad Bhaban this afternoon, Premier's Deputy Press Secretary Jahidul Islam Rony told BSS.

The Prime Minister also delivered closing remarks at the meeting that began at 3 pm and ended at 6:20 pm. 

LGRD and Cooperatives Minister Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir delivered the welcome address while Chief Whip Nurul Islam Moni conducted it.

Different important issues were discussed in the meeting. Cabinet members and treasury bench lawmakers took part in the discussion.
