HSC Physics examinees will get full marks if questions contain errors: Inter-education board

DHAKA, July 13, 2026 (BSS) - The Inter-Education Board Examination Control Committee has issued an official explanation regarding the concerns raised in various media about two questions in the creative part of the Physics First Paper of the HSC examination held today.

The Committee said that if, upon review, any errors are proven in the Physics First Paper questions, examinees' interests will be protected and 'full marks' will be awarded for those two questions if necessary, said a press release here today. 

The release said that the Dhaka Education Board is aware of the issues raised in various media regarding questions numbered 6 and 7 in the creative part of today's HSC and equivalent Physics examination. The Board authorities have begun reviewing the matter with the utmost importance.

The Inter-Education Board has requested examinees, guardians and all concerned not to be anxious about any rumors or misleading information regarding this matter.
