Army continues humanitarian assistance in flood-hit areas in Ctg

DHAKA, July 14, 2026 (BSS) - The Bangladesh Army has continued its humanitarian assistance operations in flood-affected areas of Chattogram and the Chattogram Hill Tracts (CHT).

According to an Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) release, army personnel provided medical treatment and healthcare services to flood-affected people in Hathazari upazila of Chattogram.

In Rangamati, the Army distributed relief materials among flood victims and provided necessary assistance to affected residents.

Army members also distributed relief goods in Fatikchhari upazila of Chattogram. In addition, medicines were distributed among people affected by the floods there.

The Bangladesh Army will continue its humanitarian efforts to alleviate the sufferings of flood-hit people and ensure emergency assistance in the affected areas, the release added.
