DHAKA, July 19, 2026 (BSS) - Prime Minister and BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman has invited top leaders of the parties that participated in the simultaneous anti-fascist movement to a dinner at State Guest House Jamuna.

The event will be held at 7:30 pm tomorrow, said Prime Minister's Additional Press Secretary Atikur Rahman Ruman.

"Honourable Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has invited the leaders of the political parties that were allies in the simultaneous movement against the fascist government to a dinner. He will exchange greetings with the political leaders," he said.

Ruman said more than 150 leaders from the allied political parties have been invited to the programme and invitation cards have already been delivered to them.

Members of the BNP Standing Committee will attend the function, he added.

This will be the first meeting between Prime Minister Tarique Rahman and the leaders of the allied parties since the BNP formed the government after securing a majority in the 13th parliamentary election held on February 12.
