DHAKA, Feb 2, 2024 (BSS) - Light to moderate rain is likely to occur at a few
places over the south, South-eastern and north-eastern parts and at one or
two places over Dhaka division.

"Light to moderate rain is likely to occur at a few places over Barishal,
Chattogram and Sylhet divisions and at one or two places over Dhaka
division," said a met office forecast for the next 24 hours begins from 9am
today.

Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over
the country.

Country's maximum temperature on Thursday was recorded 27.7 degree Celsius at
Teknaf and today's minimum temperature 10.4 degree Celsius was recorded at
Tetulia.

Country's maximum rainfall for the last 24 hours till 6 am today was recorded
16 millimeters (mm) at Barishal.

Trough of easterly low lies over Gangetic West Bengal and its adjoining area.
Seasonal low lies over the South Bay.

Night temperature may fall slightly and day temperature may remain nearly
unchanged over the country.

The sun sets at 05.45pm today and rises at 06.39am tomorrow in the capital.
