DHAKA, Mar 14, 2024 (BSS) – Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) predicted that rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at one or two places over different regions in the country in the next 24 hours commenced from 9am on Thursday.

“Rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Khulna, Barishal, Dhaka, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions and the regions of Cumilla and Noakhali”, according to BMD release.  

Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country.

Country’s maximum temperature on Wednesday was recorded 35.4 degree Celsius at Jashore and minimum temperature today was recorded 14.7 degree Celsius at Tetulia.

Trough of westerly low lies over West Bengal and adjoining area. Seasonal low lies over South Bay.

Day temperature may fall slightly and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
