DHAKA, March 22, 2024 (BSS)- Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary
gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at one or two places over four north
and southern divisions in the next twenty-four hours begins from 9am today.
"Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is
likely to occur at one or two places over Rangpur, Khulna, Barishal and
Chattogram divisions. Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly
cloudy sky elsewhere over the country," a met office release said.
Trough of westerly low lies over West Bengal and adjoining area. Seasonal low
lies over the South Bay.
Country's maximum temperature on Thursday was recorded 32.0 degree Celsius at
Sayedpur and today's minimum temperature 14.4 degree Celsius was recorded at
Tetulia.
Country's maximum rainfall for the last twenty-four hours till 6am today was
recorded 22 millimeters (mm) at Dinajpur.
Day and night temperature may rise by 1-2 degree Celsius over the country.
The sun sets at 06.11 pm today and rises at 05.59 am tomorrow in the capital.
