DHAKA, Mar 25, 2024 (BSS) -Rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at a few places over six divisions and at one or two places over another two divisions in the next 24-hours begins from 9am today.

"Rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at a few places over Rangpur, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal and Sylhet divisions and at one or two places over Rajshahi and Chattogram divisions with hails at isolated places", according to the met office release.

Day temperature may remain nearly unchanged and night temperature may fall slightly over the country.

Trough of westerly low lies over West Bengal and adjoining area. Seasonal low lies over South Bay.

Country's maximum temperature on Sunday was recorded 35.2 degree celsius jointly at Mongla and Jashore while minimum temperature today was recorded 18.2 degree celsius jointly at Dinajpur and Tetulia.
