DHAKA, July 2, 2024 (BSS) - The Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations scheduled for today in Fulgazi and Parshuram upazilas of Feni district have been postponed due to the sudden flood situation.
 
Confirming the matter, Feni Deputy Commissioner Musammat Shahina Akter today said that several areas of Fulgazi and Parshuram upazilas were flooded breaching four embankment-point of Muhuri River.
 
Due to heavy rains and onrush of upstream water from India, erosions were found in three places of embankments of Muhuri River, she added.
 
Dhaka Education Board Chairman and Chief of the Inter-education Board Coordination Committee Professor Tapan Kumar Sarkar said that the schedule of the postponed exams will be informed later.
