SAVAR, Jan 9, 2025 (BSS) - A truck driver was killed and another injured in a road accident on the Dhaka-Aricha highway under Dhamrai Thana early today.

However, the identity of the deceased could not be known.

Officer-in-charge of Savar Highway Thana Saugatul Alam said the accident took place in Thana road area around 4:45 am when a truck skidded off the road and hit a roadside railing as its driver lost control over the steering, leaving the truck driver dead on the spot and another injured.

The injured was taken to Dhamrai upazila health complex.
