DHAKA, Jan 20, 2025 (BSS) – Eight Deputy Commissioners (DCs) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) got posting to new stations, according to a DMP press release here today.

The Additional Deputy Commissioner, Detective Branch (DB) Cyber and Special Crime-North division Hasan Mohammad Naser Rikabdar was posted to the same place on promotion while DMP DC Mohammad Rahat Gaohari was posted to the Mirpur traffic division as its DC.

Besides, acting DC of the protection division Md Moinul Haque was posted to the same position on promotion and at present DC DMP Md Azad Rahman was posted to the Wari traffic division as its DC.

Acting DC City Cyber Crime Investigation Department Md Shahjahan Hossain was given posting to the same office on elevated position while Acting DC Intelligence and Analysis Wing Mallick Ahsan Uddin Sami was also posted to the same office on elevated position.
Besides, DC DMP Md Monirul Islam was transferred to the crime division as DC and Acting DC Traffic Gulshan zone Md Mofizul Islam was posted to the traffic Gulshan division as its DC.

The authorities instructed the transferred officers to join their new stations immediately.
