DHAKA, Jan 21, 2025 (BSS) - Information and Broadcasting Secretary Mahbuba Farjana today said new officials must work sincerely in serving the country following the government regulations.

She said this while speaking at the certificate distribution and closing ceremony of the five-day orientation training of the 43rd BCS information cadre officers at the Tathyo Bhaban here.

Referring to various limitations in the workplace, Mahbuba Farzana said that the workplace may not always be favorable. “We must create a positive environment in the workplace through our own work skills,” she added.

She urged the new officers to be motivated by patriotism and to fulfill their assigned duties with honesty, efficiency, and professionalism.

Praising the performance of the officers who participated in the five-day orientation training, the secretary said that the information service will move forward with the help of the new officers. 

She assured the new officers of the ministry's full support in carrying out their duties.

Additional Secretary of the ministry Farah Shammi, Bangladesh Television DG Md Mahbubul Alam, Mass Communication Department DG Faizul Haque, Bangladesh Betar DG ASM Jahid, Department of Films and Publications DG Khaleda Begum, Bangladesh Chalachithra Certification Board Vice Chairman Md Abdul Jalil, Bangladesh Film and Television Institute Chief Executive Abul Kalam Mohammad Shamsuddin and Bangladesh Journalist Welfare Trust MD Muhammad Abdullah, among others, were present in the event.
