6 reform commissions get time till Feb 15

DHAKA, Jan 21, 2025 (BSS) - The tenure of the six reform commissions formed to prepare a roadmap to decide the next steps on the recommendations in state reforms has been extended till February 15 next.

The Cabinet Division issued a notification in this regard on Monday night.

The commissions that have been given additional time are the Constitutional Reform Commission, Public Administration Reform Commission, Anti-Corruption Commission Reform Commission, Judiciary Reform Commission, Police Reform Commission and Electoral Reform Commission.

The tenure of the Constitution, Electoral System, Anti-Corruption Commission and Police Reform Commission expired on January 15.  

On the other hand, the tenure of the Public Administration and Judiciary Reform Commission is scheduled to end on January 31.
