DHAKA, Feb 3, 2025 (BSS) - Police arrested two professional muggers and drug peddlers with country-made weapons from in front of Islamia Eye Hospital under Tejgaon police station in the early hours of today.

The arrestees were-Md Suman Mia alias Chaki Suman, 28, accused of 18 different cases and Md Babu, 30, accused of six cases at different police stations in the city.

Acting on a tip-off, a team of Tejgaon police raided in the area and arrested them while they were taking preparation for mugging, police said.

A case was filed in this regard.
