JAMALPUR, Feb 11, 2025 (BSS) - A minor boy was killed in a road accident in Bakshiganj Upazila of the district this morning.

The deceased was Abu Bakar, 2, son of Hafizur Rahman of Charkauria Daripara of the upazila.

Officer-in-charge of Bakshiganj Police Station Khandakar Shaker Ahmed said the accident took place as a truck hit the boy in front of his home, leaving him injured.

Later, he was taken to the upazila health complex where the attending doctor declared him dead.
