CHATTOGRAM, Feb 20, 2025 (BSS) – A total of 10 snatchers were arrested from city’s Rahattarpool area under Chandgaon Thana last night.

The arrestees are Osman Gani,25, Md. Delwar Hossain, 25, Md. Arman, 31, Md. Ibrahim, 29, Md. Raju, 29, Bijoy Barua, 23, Md. Azgar Ali, 21, Md. Imran Hossain Bappi, 21, Md. Suman, 28 and Md. Kabir, 42. All of them are residents of different areas in the city.

Aftaf Uddin, officer-in-charge of Chandgaon Thana police, said police recovered seven knives and two sharp weapons from their possession.

Police said they arrested the snatchers while they were getting ready for snatching in the Chandgaon bus station area around 9pm last night.

A case filed against them in this connection.
