DHAKA, July 27, 2025 (BSS) - Bangladesh Meteorological Department today predicted rain or thundershowers with temporary gusty wind over the country in the next 24 hours commencing 9 am.

"Light to moderate rain/thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at most places over Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram, Mymensingh & Sylhet divisions and at many places over Rangpur, Rajshahi & Dhaka divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram & Sylhet divisions," said a Met office bulletin issued this morning.

Day and night temperature may fall slightly over the country, the bulletin said.

The highest temperature on Saturday recorded 37.2 degree Celsius in Dimla under Rangpur division, while today's minimum temperature was 24.5 degree Celsius in Tangail.

The sun sets at 6:44 pm today and rises at 5:26 am tomorrow in the capital.
