492 more held in Operation Devil Hunt

DHAKA, Feb 20, 2025 (BSS) – The joint forces arrested 492 more people as part of the nationwide crackdown on criminals ‘Operation Devil Hunt’ in the last 24 hours. 

A short message from the Police Headquarters said, a total of 1752 persons were arrested from different parts of the country. Of them, 1260 were arrested on other criminal charges. 

During the operation, two pipe guns, six rounds of cartridges and two machetes were seized. 
   
With the latest arrest under ‘Operation Devil Hunt’,   6849 were arrested in total on the 13th day of the crackdown for their suspected link to destabilise the country.
