Man shot dead by miscreants in Ctg's Madunaghat

CHATTOGRAM, Oct 7, 2025 (BSS)- A man was shot dead by some unidentified 
miscreants near Madunaghat Bridge area in Hathazari upazila of the district 
this afternoon. 

The deceased was identified as Mohammad Abdul Hakim, 52, a resident of 
Pachkhain village under Bagowan Union of South Raujan in the district, also a 
well-known businessman who is the owner of 'Hamim Agro' cattle farm.
 
According to eyewitnesses, a group of criminals arrived at the Madunaghat 
Bridge area on a motorcycle in the afternoon and shot Abdul Hakim's private 
car before fleeing the scene. 

Locals found him in critical condition and rushed him to Ever Care Hospital 
in the city, where he was pronounced dead by the on-duty doctors. 

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Raozan Police Station Monirul Islam Bhuiyan stated 
that police responded to the incident after receiving information. 

Further action will be taken after investigation, the OC added.
