DHAKA, Oct 7, 2025 (BSS)- Host Gopalganj district emerged as champion in both men’s and women’s division of the Modhumoti zone National Kabaddi Championship held at Bangladesh national Kabaddi academy in Gopalganj today (Tuesday).

In the men’s division final, Gopalganj district beat Dhaka district by 42-24 points.

Gopalganj district also maintained their supremacy in the women’s division as the host district beat Faridpur district by 30-12 points in the final.

Bangladesh Kabaddi Federation treasurer Monir Hossain distributed the prizes after the final match.

Meanwhile, in the day’s men’s division Dhanshiri zone matches held at the same venue, Barisal district beat Bagerhat district by 52-40 points but Bagerhat staged a fight back as they defeated Barguna district by 54-37 points in their second match.

In the women’s division match, Madaripur district beat Barisal district by 25-20 points.
