DHAKA, Feb 20, 2025 (BSS) – Police arrested two professional drug peddlers along with eight kilograms (KG)   of ganja in the capital’s Turag area in the early hours of today.

The arrestees were identified as Md. Omar Faruk, 26 and Md. Suleman, 30, said a media release of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP).

Acting on a tip-off, a team of Turag police station conducted a raid at Dour Beribandh police box area at 12:50 am and arrested the duo with the ganja as they were staying there to sell the drug.  

In the preliminary interrogation, the peddlers confessed that they have kept the ganja for selling.   
 
Legal procedure is being taken against them.
