DHAKA, Feb 21, 2025 (BSS) - Army Chief General Waker-Uz-Zaman today attended the reunion programme of the Mirzapur Ex-Cadet Association (MECA) as the chief guest, said a release of the ISPR.

GOC of 9th Infantry Division and Area Commander of Savar, Principal of the College and president of MECA welcomed gen Wakar on his arrival at the programme.  

The army chief opened the progrrame of the reunion and took salute.

Speaking on the occasion, the army chief recalled the contribution of the cadets in nation building activities.

He wished the cadets for their overall success and the continuous prosperity of the cadets and asked them to devote them for serving the nation.

Former cadets of the college, senior military officials, local civil administration officials, teachers and cadets were present on the occasion.
