Dry weather likely over the country

DHAKA, Mar 13, 2025 (BSS) -The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) today said the      weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country for next 24 hours.

"Rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind are likely to occur at one or two places over Sylhet division," said the BMD bulletin starting from 9am today.

The day temperature may rise slightly and night temperature may rise by (1-2)øCelsius over the country, the bulletin added.

Met office further said a trough of low lies over west Bengal and adjoining areas, and seasonal low lies over the South Bay.

The BMD recorded yesterday's maximum temperature at 35.8 degrees Celsius at Jashore in Khulna Division while today's minimum temperature as 18:0 degrees Celsius at Rajarhat and Dimla of Rangpur division.

The sunsets today at 06:07pm while sunrises at 06:08 am tomorrow in the capital.
