Home adviser mourns death of Magura rape victim

DHAKA, March 13, 2025 (BSS) - Home Adviser Lieutenant General Md. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury (Retd) today expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of eight-year-old rape victim child of Magura.

In a condolence message, he prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed profound sympathy to the bereaved family members.

The rape victim child who was being treated at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Dhaka with serious wounds caused by sexual assaults breathed her last at 1pm today.

The eight-year old child was admitted to CMH on March 8 in critical condition
