BAF training aircraft makes emergency landing in Jashore

DHAKA, Mar 13, 2025 (BSS)- A training aircraft of Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) made an emergency landing at Jashore Airport.

The aircraft took off from Air Force Base Bir Shrestha Matiur Rahman for regular training at 12:18 pm. But completion of 37 minutes flight, two pilots of the aircraft met the accident at the time of landing, forcing the Grob-120TP aircraft to make an emergency landing, an ISPR press release here.

The two pilots of the training aircraft, Group Captain Molla Mohammad Tahidul Hasan and Squadron Leader Ahmed Musa, are safe and sound. 

BAF has constituted an investigation committee to find out the cause of the accident.
