COX'S BAZAR, March 14, 2025 (BSS) - Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus today directed the authorities concerned to ensure transparency in implementing the Khurushkul Climate Refugee Rehabilitation Project, Cox's Bazar.

He came up with the directives during his visit to the project site in Cox's Bazar this afternoon. 

The Chief Adviser also instructed for ensuring transparency in making list of beneficiaries of the project.

Project Director Lt Colonel Mirazul Islam briefed the Chief Adviser about the progress of the climate refugee rehabilitation project.

He informed that about 82 percent work of the project has already been completed and the remaining work will be completed by 2026.

The project director said about 600 families have already been rehabilitated in the project.
