PIROJPUR, Mar 14, 2025 (BSS) - Information and Broadcasting Adviser Mahfuj Alam today joined the annual mahfil of Sarsina Darbar Sharif here.
He attended the munajat after Jum’a prayers, the closing day of the three-day mahfil as the chief guest.
“My grandfather was a ‘murid’ of Sarsina Darbar Sharif. I got scope to visit here with my father and grandfather during my childhood,” Alam said.
He said that founder of sarsina Darbar Sharif Allama Shah Sufi Nesar Uddin (R) realized the need for deen-e reformations.
As an interim government’s representative, he sought blessings of all to complete their responsibilities, which were on their shoulders through maintaining peace and discipline and establish a stable Bangladesh.
Peer Mufti Alhaj Maulana Shah Abu Nasar Nesar Uddin Ahmad Hussaini also delivered speech before munajat.
