IU's ICT dept holds iftar party in capital

ISLAMIC UNIVERSITY, Kushtia, March 15, 2025 (BSS)- The alumni of Information and Communication Technology department of Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia on Friday organised an iftar party at the capital. The iftar party was held at 'The Lounge 95' restaurant in Savar.


Chairman of the department Professor Dr Alamgir Hossain chaired the event while Professor Dr Paresh Chandra Barman, IU central laboratory director, Professor Dr Zahidul Islam, Professor Dr Shariful Islam, Professor Dr Tarek Hasan Al Mahmud, Assistant Professor Jashim Uddin were present there.


Marking the iftar party, more than fifty alumni of the department from different sessions broke their fast in a nostalgic atmosphere. Besides, a discussion program with the alumni on the silver jubilee and reunion of the department was also held there.
